What is Standard Zinc Plating?
Standard zinc plating offers a thinner coating than hot-dip galvanizing. The process, also known as electroplating, uses an electrical current to apply it. Although it isn’t best for use outdoors, the bolts are brighter and similar in color, making them more attractive to look at. Aesthetically, it may be the ideal option if you’re looking for uniformity in appearance.
